“Great stay”

Our group of 7 friends stayed recently at Africa on Foot and had a wonderful time there. The rustic rooms are charming and comfortable. The open common and dining areas are also very inviting spaces to relax and spend some time. The early morning walking safari was very enjoyable and conveyed a lot of information about indigenous species, the plants in particular. We also loved the visit out to the bush bar at the end of our final game drive. Thanks to Nadia, Aidy, Mike, Enoch & Chade for a great experience.

“The Walks are the Best”

We had a wonderful experience at Africa on Foot. It is a small camp which translates to excellent attention from all the staff members, We did two early morning walks each one with a different emphasis. One of the walks focused on all the small items in the bush and the second walk we searched for large animals. The excitement of seeing rhinos and elephants at ground level is hard to define. Thank you Nadia and staff for an amazing visit.

“Basic lodging, Great food, Great experience”

We spent 3 nights with Africa on Foot, and totally enjoyed it. The rooms are basic but very clean, the food was GREAT and varied. The staff were very friendly and helped with every issue we had. The safari guides were friendly, knowledgeable, and very accommodating. We and the kids (two 8yo) loved it. This is the proper way to do a safari.

“the perfect place for an African safari”

We staid 3 nights at Africa on Foot and just loved it. The rondavels are not luxurious but equipped with everything you need, comfy bed, fan, mosquito net, bathroom, toilet….

The food was excellent with a scrumptious breakfast, lunch, high-tea and dinner after the afternoon/sunset gamedrive. But the best (and most important on a safari) are the bush walks and game drives with AoFs very enthousiast and well-informed rangers. Not to forget the night we spent in their treehouse, some 200m from the main camp. What an experience! We’ll definitely be back – the next two trips are already planned.
