“Perfect!”

I loved our one night stay here. I wished we did 2 nights but on the other hand, what we got for the 1 night was more than we expected. First, the level of service. We had one ranger the whole stay and he was super friendly and funny. We first had a room with a lot of ants (ants nest in the room- which you can’t 100% prevent seeing as we are in the wildlife) but they put us in another room immediately.
The game drives were amazing and fun!
The food just as amazing and the friendliest sweetest staff!
Not overdone like in Asia.
Great!

“Spectacular”

Fantastic 4 day safari. Francois our guide and Selby our tracker were excellent as well as a trainee starting out on their career. Just when you think you have seen it all, another great experience happens. On our last day we witnessed a rare event of 2 lions stalking and killing a zebra. Although it was very sad, it was amazing to see. Each Drive was different and we had a great time. All the staff were great. A special mention to Deon who was very attentive to your culinary needs. My wife is a vegetarian and he couldn’t do enough to make sure the right meals were available. The luxury rooms were fantastic and had everything in it that we ever needed. I would definitely recommend Southern Camp to anyone.

“Great stay in the Bush”

Stayed for 4 days and 3 nights between trips to Cape Town and Victoria Falls. Had a great time. The Game drives were fun and we saw the big Five plus many more. Carlos and Jacob were exceptional tracker and guide. Loved the made for order omelettes at breakfast. Lunch was good. The dinner was not impressive, but OK for buffet. You will not go hungry here as you are fed about 6 six times. Charged for drinks, but not excessive and juices were included for breakfast. We were in a standard suite and size was fine. Bed Comfortable. Only issue is walls are not insulated and we could hear people a couple of times, but really was fine. The Service and Staff went out of the way to make it enjoyable. Would definitely return.

“Great Experience - Wonderful Staff”

We just came back from our trip to Africa. As part of its extension we were booked into the Southern Camp for 4 days and 3 nights. This is definitely a worthwhile experience for any traveler, especially if it’s their first experience on safari. The staff was outstanding all around the camp. Rooms were tastefully done and attractive, food and service was top notch and friendly. It was apparent to us, that the staff really enjoyed working with each tourist. You went out with your guide and tracker early each morning and once again in the later part of the day into the darkness. It was quite an experience, we saw all members of the Big 5 in our travels. As to safety, just follow the rules and the animals respect your space and you just observe them in theirs. We felt very safe during our time in the park. The safari vehicles were comfortable. Definitely recommend the Southern Camp.
