    “Fantastic Safari Camp”

My family traveled to Mala Mala on my first trip to South Africa and it was incredible! Facilities were incredible, rooms are fantastic, and game viewing is amazing. I could not give this camp higher marks. Our guide helped us see so many different animals. We got to see the Big 5 in one day! The main lodge with the bar is great and pre-dinner drinks were a highlight of our trip! Every meal was amazing and the service is some of the best I have ever experienced. I only have good things to say about Mala Mala and would highly recommend this camp to anyone that wants an incredible safari experience.

    “Returning after 10 years”

My wife and I wanted to see if our passion for the close up viewing of the Big 5 was still running through our veins after so long away from the bushveld. MalaMala did not disappoint. We stayed for 4 nights at Sable Camp and the 8 game drives delivered close up sightings of 29 different mammals including the Big 5, Wild Dog and Cheetah, each on more than one occasion. There cannot be more exciting ways to view African wildlife than at MalaMala. To be one metre from large male lions or leopards in an open vehicle still ups the heartbeat. Our Ranger, Aymar, was superb. Patient, persevering, dedicated and knowledgeable. Nothing was too much trouble. The lodge suites do now need a revamp but they are still luxurious, large and comfortable. The food is excellent and the drinks reasonably priced. We will return for a 6th time.

    “absolutely fantastic!”

We stayed here at the beginning of a month travelling throughout the continent. After 4 days and nights here, we could have gone home happy. What a fantastic place, full of such knowledgeable and fun guides who give such personal attention to everyone. Food fantastic, viewing unbelievable, service 11 out of 10, the rooms were gorgeous! The pictures are true to life. I just cannot rave about this place enough! I went to 4 other countries and fantastic places but Mala Mala I will definitely be going back to.

    “Luxury Safari hotel/camp”

This was our second stay at Mala Mala, the first in the main camp and this time in the smaller Sable Camp which has its own dining area, guides, and staff. This is a stunning property, luxurious in every sense of the word. Huge suites with his and her bathrooms, king size bed, desk and dressing tables, seating area with view of the water hole. The food was great, the accommodations amazing, but best of all, our guides were masters at providing wonderful animal sightings. Paul and Morne were knowledgeable, experienced, and adventurous. We drove the roads and off-road to get the best views of the animals and saw everything one could hope for, lions, leopards, Cape buffalo, elephants, rhino, many varieties of antelopes, birds, etc. Highly recommend!!
