Morukuru Family Lodge

The Owner’s House is situated in the private franchise inside the malaria-free reserve of Madikwe. The reserve covers the area of about 75000 hectares providing the visitors a premium safari experience and wildlife viewing opportunity.

The house is the best option for honeymooners or small families. It has two luxury bedrooms each featuring en-suite bathrooms with twin bath and shower. As you stay in the Owner’s house, you would love to admire the jaw-dropping views of the Marico River. There is an infinity pool in the house with a boma for bonfire treats and a wooden verandah.

The living area of the house has a large and spacious dining room, a fireplace and a warm kitchen area where your chef is going to make you delicious cuisines as well as you and your guests can also use the chef space to prepare wholesome snacks for yourself. A wine cellar is also available for wine lovers in the chef space.

The Morukuru Family Lodge also features a farmhouse that has five beautifully constructed bedrooms. The farmhouse is usually reserved for exclusive use because of the extravagant fittings and furnishings.

Each bedroom of the farmhouse has large king sized beds, magnificent bathrooms with twin bath and showers. The rooms are air-conditioned and also feature ceiling fans, electronic safes and a wide spacious lounge where the guests can relax and get themselves enthralled with the serenity of the Madikwe Game Reserve.

A luxurious dining room is also there where guests enjoy wholesome meals, snacks and teas and coffees. The farmhouse also features infinity pools with umbrella-shaded loungers and a private bar.

Morukuru River House is situated on the banks of the peaceful Groot Marico River on a private concession inside the malaria-free Madikwe Game Reserve.

With 3 bedrooms en-suite plus a kids bedroom (no bathroom), it can accommodate maximum 6 adults and 4 children under 16 years.

The three suites are each adorned with plush king-sized beds, sumptuous bathrooms, indoor and outdoor showers, fireplaces for chilly nights and private wooden balconies overlooking the river.

This exclusive home is a true family haven allowing friends and families an unforgettable escape from reality. River House also offers an infinity pool, a boma for bonfire feasts, a wraparound wooden veranda with romantic nooks and cosy views of the Marico River and definitely not least – an “al fresco” dining garden.

The living space consists of a dining room, lounge, double view fireplace and a warm inviting “Chef space” (aka as a kitchen) which is open to guests at all times for snacks and drinks at their leisure.
