    “Wonderful experience”

We have had a very special time at Wild Ivory Eco Lodge. The setting is superb and we have seen giraffe wildebeest and warthog from our deck. Hoping an elephant will swing by! The game drives with Herbert have been wonderful- we have seen lions and 3 cubs feeding, cheetah on the prowl, giraffe running in their unique style in front of us and baby rhino. My children have thoroughly loved the experience
The staff are so welcoming and obliging nothing is too much trouble. The food is first class!

    “Great getaway”

We bought a groupon voucher and went for a 2-night stay. From the booking to the end the service was great. Me, my wife and 1-year-old son stayed in the Luxury tent. We knew from the start we could not take him on the game drives so we made turns. there is not a lot to do for kids but it was nice spending a lot of time with them. The staff even took him sometimes when we ate and “babysat” and let me and my wife eat a hot meal together which is a change (People with babies will understand) Game drive was long but interesting and the elephant did come and drink water from the pool just like in the pics on their website. The only problem we had was the gas water heater did not work sometimes but the staff sorted this out. Food, staff, facilities etc were great.

“Perfect lodge for a bush getaway”

We decided to spend a long weekend in an accessible location with family and friends. We were not disappointed with the Wild Ivory lodge. The lodge and well-appointed tented camps overlook the Waterberg. The staff were attentive and very friendly always offering a special care to our holiday. We had an amazing encounter with an elephant who decided to come and drink water from the pool at night and was literally an arm’s reach away. We decided to go self-catering but they also provide a Chef who cooks meals which is probably what we will choose next time we return. The morning and evening game drives by Herbert were A source of many sightings from Elephants, Rhino and all the wonderful game the property has to offer. We were very impressed and will be back.

    “Peace and quiet”

We spent three wonderful nights at Wild Ivory in August 2015. We were a party of 8 and had the place to ourselves. Andrew, Ash and all the staff at Wild Ivory were just brilliant and ensured we had the perfect break. On arrival at camp, we were greeted by a bull elephant which was very exciting for us. Andrew is so knowledgeable and made each and every game drive interesting and informative (for children and adults alike). The other highlight was coming back from our evening game drive to find a hyena had chased an impala onto the deck! Again, Andrew’s expertise ensured we always felt safe, despite being rather nervous guests. The food (cooked by Silas) was excellent and meals were served on the deck, with beautiful views of the reserve (and animals if you’re fortunate!). We would highly recommend Wild Ivory and hope to return one day.
