Activities
Sanbona Wildlife Reserve prepares an activity schedule per season. Based on the weather conditions, they derive their schedules, so the guests are completely familiar with the day to day activities and where they will take place. Some of their activities include birdwatching, game drives, rock art, nature walks, stargazing and Sanbona Boat Safari.
The reserve’s plants, birds, San rock art, night skies and geological oddities are reason enough to call Sanbona a destination; then we get to the animals. On your game drives and guided hikes you may see lion – including ultra rare white versions – leopard, rhino, elephant, buffalo, large and small antelope, zebra and wildebeest; small game such as jackal, caracal, aardwolf and hyena provide fascinating side shows to the main act.
