Access to Karongwe Game Reserve by road

Guests can approach Karongwe Game Reserve on 2 routes. The first route to this game reserve in Limpopo, South Africa, is via the scenic town of Dullstroom, the second route is via Pietersburg.

• Option 1
Take the N4 to Belfast, following through to Dullstroom and Lyndenburg. Take the R36 to Orighstad and Strijdom tunnel. From the tunnel, continue for about 10km (6.2 miles).

Turn left and continue on the R36 in the direction of Tzaneen. Follow the Karongwe signboards for 27km (16.7 miles) to Karongwe Game Reserve.

• Option 2
Travel from Pietersburg on the R36 through Tzaneen towards Lyndenburg. Karongwe Game Reserve is approximately 60km (37.2 miles) south of Tzaneen, in the Limpopo Province of South Africa.
