Rhulani Safari Lodge has arranged for its guests to head out on amazing game viewing excursions in the lodge’s open Land Rover. Guests are also free to head out on foot accompanied by the lodge’s experienced game ranger. Those guests wishing to spend time indoors can avail the soothing spa treatments offered by the lodge.
Adventurous game viewing opportunities await guests from the open Land Rover or on foot with the experienced game ranger or from the comfort of the lodge itself at the nearby waterhole. The Madikwe Game Reserve, which comprises 75,000 hectares, was initially established in 1991 to restore and return the land to its former natural environment.
A unique partnership between the state, local communities and private enterprise has transformed this land by way of the most extensive, phase game translocation operation ever undertaken worldwide.
