“Stunning place to stay”

Wow – loved absolutely everything about this place. The attention to detail was amazing. All those little extras really do matter and make for a very special stay. There was a personal handwritten note on our arrival and each night a card with a quote about the night was left in the suite. The bedroom was large and just gorgeous, the bathroom was fantastic and the plunge pool and balcony areas just out of this world. The complimentary bar was well stocked – even down to having a chopping board and lemon! We ate twice in the restaurant at Tsala and once at Zinzi (sister property a very short walk away). The food was excellent and the service perfect. Breakfast was special too – very good choice of cold and hot food – the frittata was delicious and to see the vervet monkeys playing was very special. This place will be very hard to beat and I would very definitely recommend.

“The best hotel ever!”

We are still talking about how amazing this hotel/ lodge was. The location was perfect with absolute relaxation guaranteed. When you walk into the reception area it’s like walking into a very upmarket forest spa hotel. Every detail with its design has been beautifully thought out to capture the location and surroundings. Then we went to our treetop lodge….wow! Absolutely stunning. Each lodge was a little oasis, with a lovely secluded decking area and plunge pool. The bathroom was stunning and even the toilet had a view. A lovely touch was having a complimentary mini bar. Cleanliness was exceptional. Breakfast was also a highlight. beautifully presented and delicious as was our evening meal In the Tsala restaurant. The manager was lovely and took the time to talk individually to all her residents and make them feel at home. Also a big thank you to the charming Travis for his lovely manner. This place is exceptional in every way. Thank you so much Tsala.

“A fantastic holiday!”

We stayed here in August last year as a family of three with a 21-year-old daughter. We had a fabulous stay here- the whole operation really cannot be faulted. The hotel and restaurant are well organised and offer a fantastic choice of dishes, and breakfast was delicious (well done to whoever makes the banana bread!), with really good quality food. All staff were really friendly but not intrusive, and the lodges themselves are amazingly comfortable and luxurious, with little touches that enhance the experience. Highly recommended.

“Sublime!”

One of the last comments in the guest book we found was “if heaven exists – this must be it”. We did not write that but we agree: this place is amazing and set in one of the nicest settings we have ever experienced. The “rooms” (they are much more than rooms) are absolutely stunning and set in beautiful forest surroundings and offer everything you could possibly ask for. The breakfast is fantastic and the staff can not do enough for you. There is no fault I can find with the place and we hope to return one day. It really was one of the most magical and enjoyable places we have ever stayed in.
