    “Amazing trip to Bush Lodge”

Warm welcomes all around. Everyone from the reception lodge to the rangers to the lodge staff were warm, welcoming, kind and a lot of fun. The rangers were a ton of fun and helped make the safari feel like an amazing adventure. The lodge staff were accommodation and a ton of fun. The lodges (aka tents aka glamping) were cozy, and wonderful especially with the individual pools that let you watch animals while they graze in the morning. Each night after evening game drive, we were welcomed back with a wood burning fire and warm bubble bath. And every meal was delicious. Great experience, great staff, great lodge. Loved our time there.

“Top contributor - Honest review! SPECTACULAR!”

Well – what can I say, Bush Lodge THANK YOU for making my 40th birthday trip the most WONDERFUL experience ever. I truly had the most amazing time during our stay. From the welcome drink on arrival to the most luxurious ‘tent’ HA! tent? it was like a palace! to the Superbly friendly staff – special mention to Edith, Hajeera & Brenda (big hugs), exciting (danger) ranger – DJ you absolute star, delicious food, birthday cake and singing, and all those fabulous animal interactions (being surrounded by a herd of Elephants within stone throwing (literally – them not us!) distance! And returning to a hot towel, hot chocolate and a steaming bath! I honestly cannot imagine a more magical place to spend such happy times. Continue doing what you do Bush Lodge – you really are the BEST and I will return one day to do it all again, and again, and again. Thank you!

    “An absolute highlight”

A truly luxurious experience. We loved our family tent, very spacious, well equipped, beautifully decorated, and with the amazing view across the plunge pool to the waterhole. The game drives were excellent, our ranger very knowledgeable, and we saw and learnt a great deal. The lodge itself is beautiful too, with excellent food and service. Nice is the big table at dinner, very pleasant conversation with the other guests. Breakfast buffet excellent. Nice touches: the drinks/snack stop during the safaris, being welcomed back from a game drive with a hot chocolate, “personalised” soup, the fire lit in the tent when we got back from the late afternoon game drive. Highly recommended, and very suitable for families with (older) children too.

    “A real bush experience”

We had a short stay here. The room was great, with a bath, outdoor shower and cold water outdoor spa. Bedding is excellent. Martin is the most knowledgeable ranger we have ever been with, and we have been with a few. Meals were great, but portions were actually too big! :-). Game drives with Martin were fantastic and everyone was absolutely blown away by his knowledge and passion.
