Expert game rangers will take guests on guided bush walks or game drives in 4×4 game viewing vehicles and they can expect to see the famous Big five, lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo and rhino as well as other smaller creatures and many antelope species.

As the heat of the African day heightens, and after a game drive of approximately 3 hours, guests leave the bush and return to camp for mid-morning brunch. Afternoons can be spent relaxing by the pool or viewing passing game from the hide at the nearby waterhole.

As sunset approaches, guests will venture into the African bush again for an evening’s game viewing before being treated to a gourmet dinner and campfire stories back at camp. Evening game drives last about 4 hours, and include leisurely sundowners.

Honeyguide Khoka Moya Camp has implemented a program aimed at catering for children under the age of twelve years, offering special excursions and walks for children after breakfast. Parents wishing to visit a luxury private camp in the greater Kruger National Park area are able to have the peace of mind that their children are welcome and cared for.

“Bush luxury camping, right among the animals.”

This was an excellent camp. The tents are roomy, comfortable and well furnished. They were clean and well maintained. The camp surrounds a waterhole, which is a favoured drinking location for many of the wild animals. You can sit in the eating/bar area or in your tent and watch many of the wild animals.
The layout is such that you are sufficiently distanced from each other tent so that you can experience the quiet of humans but the noises of nature.
The safaris from the camp were spectacular with the guides continually locating many of the wild animals in their natural habitat.

    “Safari Magic”

The tented suites are spacious and comfortable, but the action here is outside. Our guides Lyton and Jeremiah worked hard to supply us with animal sightings and a few amazing surprises. We came upon a leopard on a tree, finishing up a meal, while another leopard and a hyena waited in high grasses below for leftovers. We don’t know how our guides spotted this so far in the distance, but a 15-minute race led us to a huge white rhino. At night, we spied a lone female lion sitting atop a mound, with a coalition of two males sniffing around, but the poor girl was left behind when the boys went for a drink at a nearby pond. Best was a breeding pride of female lions with their cubs, playing and nursing. Back at the lodge, there is a waterhole just to the side of the dining room where some elephants came to drink during lunch. Khoka Moya surpassed our every expectation!

    “Amazing Bush Experience”

We recently spent 4 nights at the Khoka Moya Honeyguide camp in Manyeleti. Lyton and Ezekiel were our dedicated guides and went out of their way to make sure we had a wonderful experience, even when we were confined to the bar while the elephants munched their ways through the trees. We didn’t particularly care what we saw, so Lyton made sure we took a look at the tree, giraffe chewing on a bone, did a bush walk … and ensured we saw all of the action – cheetah chase, lion, leopard etc. We highly recommend the Honeyguide experience and would love to do it all over again.

    “Great place!”

We stayed at Honeyguide Khoka Moya … the best of the 3 safari places in SA that we visited. Extremely friendly staff … they thought of what we would need and provided it even before we asked. They customized safari times since one of our kids was unwell, they had our car ready and waiting for us when we came back from safari since we needed to go see a doc … very thoughtful! And the whole place is unfenced, so wildlife comes really close to the tent … just loved the experience! And easily the best food across all the safari camps we stayed at!
