“This was everything we imagined and so much more!”

This is a sensational Safari experience. My husband and I stayed here as part of our honeymoon and it could not have been more special. All the staff at Kings Camp are amazing, from the moment we were picked up from the airport to the staff we met throughout our stay, we were made to feel right at home the whole time. A big mention needs to go out to our ranger Almero and tracker Donald. Almero taught us so much and we saw so many incredible things during our stay at Kings Camp including cheetahs, a pride of 8 lions, baby elephant, wild dogs and a herd of 150 buffalo. I have absolutely nothing bad to say about this camp and could not recommend it more if you’re looking for the best safari experience!! We can’t wait to return 🙂

“Most Amazing Vacation Ever”

Words cannot even begin to describe the experience we had at Kings Camp. We were a party of 2 couples traveling together and stayed at the private villa at King Camp. This villa had its own Hostess, Butler, Chef, game driver and tracker as well as cleaners. Kid you, not every day was better than the last… just when you thought all the surprises were presented they would come up with something else. They truly left no stone unturned. The ambiance of candles, drawn bubble baths, champagne, chandeliers and it goes on & on kept us in a state of awe. Patricia was our hostess, her smile I’ll never forget, she was amazing, after every game drive she’d meet us with wash towels and Life, our butler, would have drinks prepared. After the second drive of the day, a bubble bath was drawn with candles & rose pedals. Aaahhh!
From our villa, from our outdoor dining table, we saw elephants, monkeys, giraffe, and others. Our driver was Cynet and our tracker was Sonny Boy… best ever team. Sonny Boy somewhat quiet but a great tracker and Cynet drove that Land Rover places we thought we couldn’t get to. Never imagined we’d get so close, within 10 feet, of elephant hearts, leopards, lions, rhinos, giraffe, zebras and so many more. Cynet is so knowledgeable and has a great sense of humor. Every evening drive ended with a makeshift bar & snacks out in the wild watching the sunset. I could go on & on. Our Chef, Natan, prepared breakfast, lunch & dinner every day. He prepared anything we suggested… delicious. I tell you there was not one thing I could ask more. I can only hope that one day will return.

“Awesome stay”

We stayed at Kings Camp for 3 unforgettable days. From we checked in until we checked out, we cannot Thank Kings Camp enough. We felt like a King and a Queen. We had a room with a private pool, just perfect and so beautiful and so African. We had Anna Tinker as our guide and Albert as our tracker. We couldn’t be happier. This is Anna’s passion for sure. Thank you, Anna, for being our guide at all our game drives. Please remember to visit Kings Camp Spa……I did and Patricia gave me an unforgettable treatment, Thank you, Patricia. Breakfast, Lunch, and dinner were outstanding…..they only serve the Best and at a very High level. Just enjoyed our stay so much. Thank you ALL. Warren also Thank you. We will ALWAYS remember our stay with you. We have never felt so relaxed. A BIG Thank you to all of the staff.
Best regards from Mikael and Heidi from Denmark

“A wonderful experience all around”

This was truly an incredible experience. The accommodations are as luxurious as any hotel anywhere, the surroundings are beautiful and the staff not only provides wonderful and individual service but they also seem to be able to anticipate your every need.
However, the thing that made it an extraordinary experience was the provision of kosher food for us. These were not tin-foil-wrapped TV dinners. There were at least two options for every meal, the chef personally asked our preferences for how food should be prepared (…medium rare…) and the food was both delicious and plentiful. If that were not enough, we were amazed to determine they even provided kosher snacks for when we were out on safari….like we might not be able to go 3 hours without nourishment. Amazing.
It should be noted that we were not on a kosher tour but rather came when it was convenient for us at a time when most of their guests were not kosher-keeping. Hence, everything described above was made for us alone, all the while having to cater to their usual crowd.
Since you might not believe all these accolades, I’ll note the very few negatives: (1) one evening no hot water (immediately solved personally by Warren); (2) variability in guides (not unexpected but makes one appreciate the differences); (3) never saw a buffalo (kind of “nervy” by the buffalo, don’t you think?).
This was truly a vacation of a lifetime in a place that not only tried to make dreams come true but actually succeeded at it.
