Makanyi Private Game Lodge

The lodge features open plan suites that connect the bathroom, bedroom, lounge, and deck. Each suite has a terrace to enjoy the view of the surrounding wildlife and a permanent dam.

The suites are furnished with unique pieces, and amenities include both indoor and outdoor showers, stand-alone bathtubs, a lounge area with a fireplace, sun loungers, and day beds on the deck. Other amenities include luxury bathroom products, a mini-bar and fridge, tea and coffee-making facilities, Wi-Fi and high-speed internet access, and an in-room safe.

Two of the seven Luxury Suites rooms are luxury pool suites. As they are located furthest from the main lodge they offer more privacy, as well as a a wonderful private plunge pool on the deck – ideal for a soak with a glass of champagne, under a blanket of stars.

The Marula Suite is a perfect retreat for small groups of friends or couples who are looking for privacy and relaxation. It is a beautiful villa located away from the main lodge, offering complete seclusion. The villa has a large deck with a swimming pool and private boma, giving guests a total of 366sqm/3400sqft of space to unwind and enjoy. Guests have their meals at the main lodge.

The suite has two lovely bedrooms, both with en-suite bathrooms, and a spacious lounge that opens out onto the main deck. From there, guests can enjoy watching the wildlife passing by in their own private game viewing paradise.
