“Excellent game reserve experience”

Comfortable accommodation, good food and an excellent game viewing experience, what more could you ask for? Renee and her team looked after us very well and Rudy was an exceptional guide for our game drives. He had a very good knowledge of all the flora and fauna on the property and his Photographic training was very helpful in enabling us to get the best pictures possible of the wildlife. Highly recommend this private game reserve.

“Amazing game reserve. The best!”

Stayed for 2 nights and had the most amazing experiences. From the cheerful welcome at the entrance gate to the moment we left, the team were outstanding in their commitment to making our stay the best ever! I appreciated only having to drive a short distance to the reception and then being transported to the lodge by jeep. No scary rocky roads in our tiny rental car! We stayed at Lentaba Lodge and the room was gorgeous. Fabulous view over the countryside and the best bathroom ever with full wall window looking over the Reserve. The food was plentiful and delicious and with only 20 guests the staff were able to spend lots of time with us. Last but not least- The game drives- incredible! Techa was so knowledgable and informative. A careful and skilful driver with a natural affinity with the animals. He worked tirelessly to ensure we had the best experience of animals ever. Our fourth drive was hampered by the most torrential rain – but despite this he managed to find 7 lions for us to see as well as the other animals enjoying their morning downpour. A magical experience. We hope to return if we can. Highly recommended. Thank you Lalibela!

“Astonishing setting and views”

Each of the lodges here are so so beautiful and unique. The staff is extremely friendly and knowledgeable. Great game drive and layout of lodges. The Big 5 and animals in great condition! Some true African flavor with original lion paw prints in the cemented walkway area. Feels like you are lost at an oasis… it makes you want to loose your phone and just consume nature!

“Wonderful experience”

We had 3 nights at Marks camp. The lovely staff at the lodge couldn’t have been friendlier, they went out their way for all the guests. The lodges are spacious and they even have electric blankets as it can get chilly at night! You do 2 game drives a day and when you return from your evening one, they welcome you back with a real fire and a hot chocolate and Amarula (or similar…lovely) Our ranger Ryan was really knowledgeable and you could tell he was passionate about his job. I’m vegetarian and they made me a separate meal every night which was lovely. And the cherry on top of the cake, searching and seeing the wildlife. There’s nothing like seeing these wonderful animals 10 meters away from you. It’s magical and something everyone should experience. We will always have wonderful memories of South Africa, thank you for a fantastic experience xx
