In Thornybush Reserve’s northern region, lies Shumbalala Game Lodge. The location of the lodge offers magnificent views of the Monwana River. The lodge is at near proximity to the Kruger National Park. Guests need to take the stone and sand pathway to reach the lodge.
Due to the small-scale structure of the lodge, guests are able to have an exclusive and private stay. Although the lodge itself does not offer the facilities of a spa, guests are free to avail the spa facilities at Thornybush Game Lodge.
The lodge’s interiors are constructed of thatch, stone and timber. The lounge offers leather armchairs and cozy sofas, where guests are free to read or watch television. The lodge’s elegant dining room is where guests can have their food. If they prefer, they can take their food onto the veranda. A commodious brick deck has a fire pit, so guests can have the time of their life when sightseeing.
The lodge also has a swimming pool where guests can have a refreshing swim in the clear and sparkling water. The wine cellar of the lodge offers a wide range of vintages that guests can drink with their meals. All of the guests’ meals are inclusive of their accommodation charges.

No African safari holiday would be complete without an exciting game drive in the African bush. The game drives are available early morning and afternoon and an experienced ranger and tracker will accompany guests. Spot the Big Five and smaller game and birds.
