“Trip of a lifetime!”

The manor house far exceeded our expectations. The staff went out of their way to make sure all our requests were met. Jonathan made amazing meals even with all our diet restrictions. Our rooms were comfortable and clean. The water hole with the variety of animals coming to drink throughout the day was certainly a highlight of the trip. Vic is a very skilled guide and we benefited from all his knowledge. Vic and Mpho make an amazing team. We saw the big 5 and many more animals up close. They made sure that each safari drive was unique and special. We could not have asked for a better experience. It truly was the trip of a lifetime!!

“Great time”

We visited with 2 other couples in their 60s and thought the stay was perfect. We were there for 3 nights and think this is a good amount of time to spend. We went on game drives in the mornings and late afternoons. By our third or fourth drive, we had seen the big five. We had been on a safari in the Serengeti and this was different. The driver could go off road so you got much closer to the lions and leopards. The scenery was different- not as much greenery or open, grassy plains. At the Serengeti, we saw hundreds of zebras but not as many at Kruger. We saw more lions and leopards at Kruger but fewer monkeys.
The manor house was perfect. They had a meatless menu for my wife. I don’t drink but they had an open bar. The food was great. We had the end room on the first floor with an “outdoor” shower. It had slats that went around and let you look out. Wi fi worked fine. We would stay there again.

“Phenomenal Vacation”

We visited this game park lodge for several days in August 2016. As mentioned above it was just tremendous be it the lodging, food, facilities and game drives. We have been on many games drives and they were all great but these were exceptional! Very highly recommend Tintswalo especially if there is a fairly large group in your party. Thanks to Thuli, Tact, Eunice, Julius, Ntsako, and Wikus. Hope I did not forget anybody.

“Beautiful, serene, breathtaking!”

We had a spectacular experience at the Tintswalo Manor House. We had the house to ourselves (family of 5) and were waited on like royalty for the duration of our stay. The house was beautiful with really lovely colonial furnishings. The meals prepared by our cook were spectacular. However the best experience was sitting on our spacious verandah each morning and watching all the animals arriving to get water at the water hole located immediately in front of the house. Elephants, monkeys, hippos and others. It was just beautiful. Then a surprise meal in a clearing lit by candles on the way back from safari one evening, the wonderful game drives- it was our best vacation experience ever!
