“A wonderful professional and intimate experience”

My friends my husband and I had the privilege to spend 3 nights at this great lodge.
We loved everything. The welcoming atmosphere, the lovely spacious rooms, the excellent food and mainly the couple who runs the lodge. Werner who was our guide for the 3 days. He is very friendly, prepared and experienced. It was nice to sit at the table with him and openly talk about anything. His wife Nicky is adorable, always ready to welcome the guests returning from the safari, very quiet but always available. They prepared a special candlelit dinner one night and everybody loved it. They really do their best to make the guests happy. I highly recommend it.

“Memorable experience”

Enthusiasm, passion, dedication and devotion are the key qualities associated with the team running this lodge. A great experience during the four days we spent with them. All details were well taken care of with efficiency and warmth. The mood generated was contagious and promoted real camaraderie among all the guests creating a great social as well as safari experience. Thanks to all the team, particularly Andre and Andreis who were our vital links to the wild throughout the stay.

“Fantastic”

Have sadly just left N’Kaya Lodge today and are now in Pretoria. We had three wonderful nights being looked after magnificently by Andre and Lene. With only 4 suits it is a very personal and intimate service, yet remained friendly and professional. Our tracker was Andreas and he is one fantastic tracker; with his expertise accompanied by Andre’s great skills in driving and spotting animals too, we had a thoroughly great time. We were very lucky with seeing the animals and saw all ‘big 5’ along with a plethora of other animals from hippo, zebra, impala, kudu and giraffe to a dung beetle and lots of birds and vultures; it was the most wonderful experience. The food was fantastic at every meal time. Our rooms were extremely comfortable and clean, there are two bathrooms – one with a bath and the other a shower. We cannot recommend this lodge highly enough and would go back and stay with them again in a heartbeat. Wishing you both good luck for your wedding in October guys.

“Fantastic”

N’kaya lodge was our favorite from the three lodges we visited during our first stay in South Africa. Thanks to Werner and Andris all our game drives were fantastic, their knowledge and enthusiasm were outstanding. The mixture of these safaris together with leisure time at the pool and in the beautiful suites (lovely decorated), wonderful meals prepared by Nicky and team was so awesome that we considered staying there instead of visiting another lodge (which was not possible because N’kaya was fully booked after our lucky very private stay – it was just the two of us.) What a treat. Thank you!
