    Kruger National Park

My wife and I spent three days at Gomo Gomo Game Lodge and had a superb time. Our guide Damien and tracker Caswell were amazing and went to great lengths to find us all the animals we wanted to see (thanks, fellas!). A host of animals, including a family of giraffes, walked past the lodge in which we stayed. As a vegetarian, I was pleased with the selection of meals on offer. We had our evening meals around a campfire on a couple of occasions, which was a great experience. The whole team at Gomo Gomo, especially Carina, couldn’t have been more helpful and we’ve got no hesitation at all in giving them five stars.

What a fantastic experience! We managed to see the Big 5 thanks to Guide Damien who worked hard especially listening to the radio as to where the animals were. Because of this, we got to see lions hunting and a leopard eating a kill.
The rest of the staff were also fabulous and the food was amazing. We wanted to take the chef home with us. It was lovely that you all ate together which meant you could talk about the drives. We particularly enjoyed the evening meals around the campfire
It was a brilliant start to our honeymoon and we have memories that we will treasure forever. We cannot thank you enough and we will certainly recommend you to anyone wanting to do a safari.

    “Amazing safari experience!”

For our first time visiting South Africa, my husband, friend and I wanted to experience a safari but didn’t want to break the bank doing so. After much research we decided on a private game reserve (versus Kruger) where we could see the animals up close and without big crowds – we booked a 3-night safari at Gomo Gomo Game Lodge. We had an AMAZING time! The entire staff was incredibly friendly. The 2 bedroom lodge we were in was comfortable and functional. The common area/deck by the watering hole was perfect for relaxing and watching animals come take a drink. We were very well-fed by the kitchen – so much food and great meals. On our game-drives, we saw the Big 5 and much more (wild dogs, hippos, hyenas, giraffes, elephants, the list goes on and on). Our guide, Damien, and his tracker, Nyatu, (unsure of spelling) were awesome – friendly, knowledgeable, fun, and showed great ability to track down the animals they were searching for. They ensured that we were having a great experience. Overall, we were super pleased with choosing Gomo Gomo for our safari!

    “Game viewing”

We had a wonderful game viewing, saw the big five on the second drive, we also saw wild dogs four times. It was made by our guide Damian who was very knowledgeable and great fun as well. Our tracker Caswell was brilliant and could not do enough to help you.The rooms were very good, spacious and clean overlooking the waterhole where we saw various animals coming down to drink. We had a lovely swimming pool to relax in after the game drives and from there you could also see the waterhole.Food was good served outside around a campfire which was fun.
